The Medieval Town

Holidays in Bellagio date back to ancient history. The first visitors to leave a record of their stays, came here during the first century A.D. Over the centuries, the strategic position at the center of the lake made Bellagio important enough to be the object of contention many times. During the Belle Èpoque, the town offered three theaters, at a time when Milan could only boast two.
