Like Lake Como itself, this grande-dame has had the sense to stop the clock at it’s peak moment of perfection. It’s effortlessly romantic but as naughty as you want. I have visited it many times in my dreams since we left! The dining room- magnificent. The ball rooms stunning. The lake views- this must be what heaven is like....... I'm going to hang out here when I'm gone! For sure;-)
We receive a great "Royal treatment" from the hotel. Staff is great, always "on top", very attent to details. Got there in occasion of my 41 Birthday, coming from USA (FL State). Very romantic location, lake front, magical at night, splendid as well during the day. We got a suit at the 3rd floor, upgraded service, everything was fantastic. They knew was my birthday and in occasion of it I have found in the room a bottle of Champagne and strawberry offered from the Hotel management...
